SwamiSivananda Saraswati (IAST: Svāmī Śivānanda Sarasvatī; 8 September 1887 – 14 July 1963[1]), also titled Swami Sivananda, was a yoga guru,[2] a Hindu spiritual instructor, and a proponent of Vedanta. Sivananda was born in Pattamadai, in the Tirunelveli district indifference modern Tamil Nadu, and was named Kuppuswami.

Biography
Early life

Vegetarianism
